Oh dear lord, I haven't given it a thought, until I popped into TK Maxx today and saw the mountain of Christmas decs for sale.
You are all sounding extremely festive and jolly on here. We are minus various kids this year, but still haven't decided what to do. Need to be more creative this year, rather than quantity. Quality and simplicity is the brief.... as well as peace and tranquility.

Well I’ve made my cake. Very last minute, the day before I came to the USA. I’ve also brought Xmas cards with me to write. Sorry I didn’t get to post the Christmas cake recipe. It was on the WT website when it was still up and running, if anyone remembers that! ED has set us all up with Secret Santa so they only now have to buy one present. The limit is £50. Cannot help think that the children may still be expecting us to give to them. In a bit of a quandary of it! Anyone else do the Secret Santa alternative Christmas?
