A few days ago someone asked me if I could go back to being 20 would I want to and would I do everything the same. I mean if I could go back knowing what I know now then of course I'd do things differently. I defy anyone to say that they wouldn't change a thing. It may be mostly little things but I would definitely do some things differently. I'd probably have another baby.
Maggzz, if I could go back I would tell my younger self that I could do exactly what I wanted. I wanted to join the Police Force, but I was put off. It's something that I've always wondered 'what if'. I didn't have any self confidence. But, like you, I would have another baby. When our second child was born, my mum who was a forceful woman said make it your last! She lived over 70 miles away so it wouldn't have had any impact on her.

To believe in myself and to have more confidence! Stand up to people who I didn’t agree with. Read more books. Study harder! I’m sure there’s lots more but I can’t change a thing in the past so will try to do what I should have done in the future.
Oh yes - plenty. Firstly I would have pursued my career of choice (vet) which I was discouraged from, being female and not from a farming/well off family. I wouldn't have taken any **** from boyfriends who intimidated me and made me feel scared that they would leave me if I voiced an opinion. Other aspects of my life I wouldn't change for the world - i.e.hobbies, good friends, bit of travelling. I would, however, liked to have been strong enough to say NO on more occasions.
