Last week I read about how a list of questions can pin point where you have lived. So intrigued I had a look and saw it used questions such as what did you call the childhood game, Tig Tag Tic I grew up in Lancashire and I called it Tag. How about you?
And what about bread buns? There are so many variations!
Just tried the quiz but it kept crashing. I'm difficult to pin down anyway because I started primary school in Scotland and then moved to England after the first year. I didn't know any of the names for any games. I didn't know the skipping rhymes and I'd never played elastics. I had to learn it all from new and it wasn't easy because for quite a while nobody could understand me. My accent was quite strong but at that age it doesn't take long to lose it. I can't imagine speaking like that now but in some ways I wish I still could. I can still understand even the broadest Scottish accent though while other people are looking blank.
