I try to keep an open mind about unsubstantiated rumours, but it would be very disturbing for any woman (or man, for that matter) to feel unsafe in their home because of the behaviour of their partner. The Guardian claims it's heard a recording made by the neighbour (not sure how legal that is by the way to record someone else without them knowing!) so presumably they think that's enough evidence that something was going on if they're prepared to publish it, and the Police have apparently confirmed that they were called out to that address and so far as we know they've not charged anyone with wasting Police time.
I am not keen on Boris, I don't trust him further than I could throw him, I think he's a liar and I don't think he'd be a good Prime Minister. I accept however that he may be considered by members of his party to be strong enough to lead them, and they'll overlook his foibles if that will ensure that Labour don't beat them at the next election - and ultimately the Tory party members are the ones who will make that decision, the rest of us poor s*ds will just have to live with their decision.
