Annad, do you have any yummy tips on cooking with pumpkin ? Pie(not too sweet please) soup, biscuits (cookies) in fact any that are favourites. We are going to hollow out a pumpkin and I really don't want to waste anything. Xxx

Love pumpkin flavour - my OH makes a lovely Pumpkin Bread but it requires a tin of pureed pumpkin which is hard to find in the supermarkets. Not sure it would be the same with fresh pumpkin innards. Bought some really cute Munchkin Pumpkins which are displayed on the sideboard, have a big one on the front doorstep (not carved, whole) and two more in the back garden. Currently burning a lovely Yankee Candles votive which is pumpkin fragranced ..... having written this I am beginning to wonder whether I have an obsession, maybe I should start a new thread 'Help, I am addicted to Pumpkins!'

Pumpkins at our gate in honour of my American daughter-in-law but also because I loved the way the Americans decorate their homes/ businesses for Autumn. I will ask her if she has any family recipes Trisha.
