This morning was a cold and damp. By the time our little one and I were due out (just before 8:30) it was snowing. Our little one looked out of the window and said 'look granny) she has never seen snow coming down so heavily. We went out and she was amazed that it was so cold. By the time we arrived at school it was white over and the roads were very sloppy. Throughout the day it has thawed and snowed, now it's windy and hailing. If we have a heavy frost overnight, the roads will be very dangerous. Has anyone else had snow?
Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly.
We had a brief heavy shower of snow on Thursday late afternoon (Cambridgeshire) - it didn't settle and lasted only 20 minutes but was quite heavy while it lasted. I love snow as long as I don't have to drive in it!
I don't like the cold or cold winters BUT when I was small we had hard, cold winters and it killed all the bugs/viruses/germs off, maybe that's what we need as the last few years we haven't had snow here or a really truly cold winter.
