At my sister-in-laws on Christmas day so no cooking at all.
Another subject which I mentioned to another member on here in 'messages' re Christmas is that I don't do christmas shopping in regards to presents. What I do is throughout the year when I see things in shops I think, 'oh so & so would like that', so I buy it, wrap it up, label it, and put it into an old suitcase then when Christmas comes it's all sorted because I find that when you go deliberately looking for something as a present you can't find it but when you spontaneously come across something it sorts itself out.
"I am doing the best I can with what I have in this moment; and that is all I can expect of anyone including me"
We are doing things a bit differently this year, a mixture of having building work (so a good excuse not to invite the inlaws over) and my daughter working on Christmas Day until 6pm, means we're having our Christmas meal in the evening on 25th - not something we've ever done before. Just hope I don't nibble too much during the day and spoil my appetite - or drink myself unconscious before she arrives!
