That would be good Miss CG. You said your trip to Sweden was hard, why was that?
I hadn't been in an airport for 5 years and was nervous. I also hadn't been on an airplane for that time period. I had to get used to the buses again. I am NOT a recluse but airports are hard for me.
I am reading "Rouge" by Mona Awad. It is a very enjoyable book to read. My brother gave it to me as a birthday present. He researched books that I'd like. This was one of them. I truly love reading and my brother always picks brilliant books for me.
Funny enough, after our conversation on another thread about alcoholism, I happened to be listening to Radio 4ex in the car and the author Marian Keyes was chatting about the book she wrote in 2015 Rachels Holiday of which there is now a sequel.
It is based on herself who way back in her late 20's became an alcoholic. I had no idea. Listening to her logic and reasoning of the disease made sense, having just held a conversation on here.
I'm a fiction fan. My go to books at Christmas are both by Milly Johnson. The mother of all Christmas and I wish it could be Christmas every day. I never tire of either of these books.

Thats a thoughtful brother MCG My brother has also bought me a book called Death in the garden (poisonous plants etc).
Just found your book...
From the critically acclaimed author of Bunny comes a horror-tinted, gothic fairy tale about a lonely dress shop clerk whose mother’s unexpected death sends her down a treacherous path in pursuit of youth and beauty. Can she escape her mother’s fate—and find a connection that is more than skin deep?
SD - I have heard of Rachels holiday, i'm wondering if it was televised?
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
I finished reading "Rouge" by Mona Awad last night: a truly brilliant read.
It turned out Belle was being drugged: that was why she had gaps in her memory and got confused. Thankfully she recovers and becomes sane again!
I'd give this novel 10/10. If you are so inclined, I'd definitely advise you read this book. And do get to the end! It'll all make sense on the last page.
