Country Brocante Style by Lucy Haywood Where English country meets French vintage, I like this style, faded textiles, and chippy picture frames are the way to go. This book may sneak into my bookshelves very soon

Jazzy, I haven't heard of brocante style. I have looked at photos, it looks light and elegant. I can imagine it making a bedroom look very romantic.

It's new to me as well, I don't think my OH would like it, but it's pretty.

Had to look that up as I’d never heard of it. It’s very pretty, feminine and perfect style for a country wedding!

I too love this look, and achieve it in small areas, mostly window boards where I can change displays every now and then, but bring in a chippy picture frame and there would be 'words' it is a romantic look and, I would say, probably favoured by us girls.
