Thank you ladies for being supportive. My daughter was originally told that she had not got a place but I think what happens is that some people apply to lots of charities and once they get offered a place they then turn down any others they might get. My daughter only applied to one as it is a charity that has been supportive to her and us as a family since she was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. We had discussed her rejection and I suggested that maybe they pick people with experience or who set a high donation target. When she received a telephone interview a few weeks after being rejected, she upped her target to £5000. I think Crohn’s and Colitis Uk are allocated about 70 places. She was out training last night on the streets in London in the pouring rain! The link is below. Please don’t be put off by any of the previous donations she’s received. I know I have in the past and felt obliged to give more but I know Jess will be grateful for any amount. As the saying goes, ‘look after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves’. Thank you.

You did do it right Bellatrix. Thank you so much 😊. Jess is now 20% of her way to her target. She ran a 10K race in London yesterday and looked great afterwards. Jess has asked me to pass on her personal thanks. You ladies are amazing!
