How is everyone coping with this spell of hot weather? Our lounge is north east facing, so we get the sun early morning. The kitchen is on the south west, as is the garden. Blistering hot, with no shade later in the day. It looks as though we are going to get heavy rain before much longer, no drop in temperature though. Phew.

Sounds like the same as us Trisha. I'm doing ok Trisha, been drinking loads of water to keep body temp down and bought a whopping great floor standing fan which we take upstairs at night. Keeping curtains shut in the day to shield bedrooms and just trying to take it easy in the day. Put all housework on hold. Seems to be working

Not quite sure how I got through yesterday, we have full sun on the back of our house from sunrise until about 5.30, no shade in the back at all, and the kitchen is in full sun all day, two grandchildren to look after, PHEW, thankful for the rain this morning, but still very humid, battling on.

That's a good question. We had thunder and lightening last night. The rain was coming down in 'stairrods'.

It was blowing here, but relatively dry. Such a small island, and so many weathers....
