There is one 'good' thing about this virus (I'm trying to be positive). People are rallying round, helping each other, like I believe they did in the war. My question is will it continue after all this is over or will everyone just go back to caring about themselves and not others? dunno.
That is good news. The worst of times or events can bring out the best in people.I hope the compassion continues.
That's one of the firtst things I thought about when we were all notified to stay indoors, those who are being abused, quite terrifying .
My daughters partner, is working from home. She says he loves it and has been so happy since being able to do this. No more long commute and dealing with stressful co-workers., he's know loving a job that he hated a few months ago. Maybe after all this is over, firms will realise that they can have more employees working from home and that staff are happier. If that was the case, they wouldn't need such big office accommodation, those office blocks could be turned into housing, saving money and space on new builds. Trains wouldn't be so packed, roads would be clearer and people happier.
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
Went back to work last week, it was lovely to have our Grandson back and he really enjoyed having other children to play with. I must say I haven’t missed work but have missed the Grandchildren so much - we visited them all in their gardens before work on Wednesday so I’m happy! 😀
