Your favourite music

Thanks a lot for that. I may come back to you on that one. I can use it for most things. At this very moment we’re at our van and I have my MacBook plugged into the tv and I’m watching Bones on Prime streaming it through the MacBook which is accessing the internet through my iPhone.

I can send emails and surf the net and all the normal things. It’s knowing how to get into where all the files are kept.

One problem I have is that I had my Apple account on my old laptop. When I opened the account on the MacBook only music that I’d actually bought was there. When I got my first iPod I spent ages converting all my cds to the iPod format and into my folder. Some of it I can’t get again. I have several thousand songs on there. A lot of it is on my phone but I can’t add to it or rearrange my playlists. I darent resynch with the MacBook because I could lose them all. I need to get into the file and transfer it onto a pen drive. If I can coax my old laptop into existence I can probably get that far but where do I put it on the MacBook so it will all appear in my Apple account. I’m not sure I’ve explained this very well.

My son can’t work out how to do this and he’s a bit of a whiz with computers. I’m not sure either hubs or I would have been able to get as computer literate as we are without the boys help.
