I was watching an early episode of The Vicar of Dibley on tv tonight and she mentioned The Tufty Club. I hadn't heard that name mentioned in years and it immediately brought back memories of my childhood. I was a member of the Tufty Club and I was really proud of being one Was anyone else a member ?

I think there is a Tufty book in this house that belonged to one of my children but no one was ever a member. I was a member of the WWF, think that was what is was called. I still have the joining letter. Yes I am a hoarder 🙈

I was a WWF member - as a child I had the big WWF poster of the Panda and other at risk species, and a poster of trees of the British isles (I have always loved trees) - my friends thought I was odd lol

Trees are beautiful I love them. I hug them. Our calendar each year is the Woodland Trust of trees.

No, I wasn't a member of the Tufty Club. I was a member of a children's club in the Star newspaper in Sheffield. The name is eluding me at the minute.

Yes it was a squirrel and it was to do with road safety. I didn't realise that it still exists
