I know Jazzy and I have been watching this, but has anyone else enjoyed it? The show has now only 4 contestants left, and is spread over two days. I have been surprised to see how good some of these people are and infact made me think how boring my home cooking is in comparison. Ed Balls is one of the remaining 4 and I have actually warmed to this guy. Always thought he was never great as a politician, but through this have briefly got to know him more and he is an extremely good cook who takes great pride in his dishes. Rachel Johnson is another contestant and to me comes across as a mum who cooks quantity for her boys I know that feeling.

I’ve seen a bit but not every episode. I saw the one where they made lemon meringue pies and something with bananas. When I make lemon curd it takes ages with lots of stirring so I’m not sure how they managed to it in the time they were given

I have been watching, how did I miss that it was over two days? I'm not sure that I could have conjured something up from a tin of chick peas.

To say I was surprised by the winner last night is an understatement, how on earth did Ed Balls win ?
Tom made such a massive effort with his food and presentation, I know I wasn’t there to taste the food but surely presentation counted on this occasion, whereas Ed, in my opinion, made no effort with presentation whatsoever, and who would want to eat cold lamb chops on a picnic, definitely not me ☹️
