I have an iphone and a Kindle so I've got access to all the different apps. I was wondering which ones are your favourites. I'd like a good music app as I've just bought a speaker that connects via bluetooth. I can't get it to find my Kindle which I don't understand.
I get very frustrated with Spotify as it often seems to drift off at a weird tangent. I tried to listen to a Christmas playlist and ended up listening to all Bruce Springstein. I do like Shazam (try it) and it will make playlists for you based on what you've shazammed. I could still do with a better one though that's not so American and has music from my era. Has anybody any ideas?

I use Shazam but for the times when I hear music that I like but cannot identify it and store it for later use to play on Spotify.
I like using Pinterest to search for ideas for home, garden and fashion.
I use the Highways app when travelling long distances. It shows both roadworks and accidents so helps in journey planning and cuts down frustration when stuck in traffic knowing what and how long the hold up will be.
I use What's app as well. I'm never sure how they work, are they free or do they make a change. Do you get lots of random sites bombarding you with information?? Perhaps I am getting too cautious in my old age!

Whatsapp is great for communicating with friends and family either when abroad or with those who live abroad. I think it cost me about £1.50 initially and that is the only charge. We have a family whatsapp group of 8 people and send photos and videos easily and at no cost whereas texting would. I also like the fact that I can see that the message has been delivered and if it has been read unlike texts which I have no idea about, several of mine have never arrived!
