X Our daughters little puss cat seems to be rallying round. She is still on medication, so that's helping. She's eating but is very thin. Hugs

Good news about your daughters kitty My little cat is much the same, eating very very little and having to be coaxed to eat it. Been in the corner most of the day but did sit in the garden for a little while this morning. I think the weekend will probably be decision time, unless she decides herself. She's not showing any signs of distress at the moment, that's what's making it difficult.

So sad to read about your fur ball Bellatrix. What a great age she is and how lucky to have lived with you and your loving family.

Thank you LL Said goodbye to my little friend of 19 years today. I know there are terrible things happening all over the world to people, but in my little corner of the world this has really knocked the stuffing out of me today Thank you girls for all your lovely thoughts XXX

B, I'm so sorry. I know exactly how you feel, when we lost our little cat I was desolate. Our little furry family members leave such a large hole in our lives when we lose them. She was a very loved little puss cat.
Lots of love and hugs xx

In my opinion (yes, I'm up early yet again!) pets are an extension of ourselves, humans have always been associated with animals, we go together, it's natural. Someone once said that "Pets are people with fur" and I believe this. I am so sorry to hear of your little cat Bella, you have lost a pet & a friend, if I knew you I would be giving you lots of hugs, be kind to yourself ok

So very sorry Bellatrix to hear about your cat, I am sure you made the right decision at the right time for her, but in all honesty it's never the right time for us. It's going to be very painful for quite a while, but I hope in time you will be able to look back at all the good times, affection and love that you have shared and that the pain of losing her is outweighed by the joy she brought into your family.
Virtual hugs xxxx

Oh B - big hugs to you - they do leave a gaping hole when they go, but you gave her a fab life and I'm sure she was just ready to slip away at that ripe old age. Thinking of you xxx

Just want to say thank you all so very much for your lovely kind words through a hard few weeks.
Was a decision we were dreading, whole family have been upset, she was the cat the kids grew up with and loved so much, funny little thing.
I have to say what an amazing vet we had, she treated my little cat as if it was her own, she cuddled her and kissed her on the head and spoke to her as if she loved her too, quite an amazing woman, she made the experience better than it would have been.
Thank you all, she is and will be so missed.

Our daughters little cat has come to the end, she has not really eaten for a few days and has a large swelling under her tongue. She has an appointment at the vets tomorrow at 9am. She was a rescue cat and had a very happy and pampered 16 years. Our daughter and son in law are both taking her in the morning. We're not sure how our little one is going to react. The puss has been with her since she was born.
