Having got a wildflower area in our garden, I am always on the look out for wild flowers when I am out. Wildflowers have declined because verges have been regularly mown, flowers have been picked so no seeds are left to self sew, etc. Yesterday I saw some on a roundabout on the A12 in London. I have done a search and found it was chicory. A beautiful blue, tall flower which I would love in my garden. Do any of you grow wildflowers or have spotted some which need identification?

The hedgerows around here are very generous, even when a couple of feet is mown there is still plenty of space for wild flowers, my favourites are Cow Parsley in May, and there are so many bright red Poppies in flower at the moment, a cheerful sight.
