I'm reading a book called, The Break by Marian Keys, at the moment. Anyone read it? It's about a husband going off because he's having a mid life crisis. So far so good!

'The Perfection Of Yoga' not the exercise kind, but the Karma/meditation side of it. And 'Beyond Birth And Death'. Both by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who was the founder of the International Society For krishna Consciousness.
I am waiting for a book from Amazon entitled ' A Moveable Feast' by E Hemingway.

I've just started reading 'Apple Tree Yard' I hope it's as good as the adaptation on the T.V.
I've enjoyed Marian Keyes books before, I'll keep a lookout for this one. I have a couple of Yoga books Linda but they are the exercise ones rather than meditative. I should meditate regularly really, I sometimes miss it for months on end and then remember how much it helps!

We should put ourselves first because if we don't then we can't do 'other things' can we ?

I ran out of books, so I have just opened 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' again. No regrets, I forgot how engaging it is, and it is many years since I last read it.

i'm rereading Deja Dead by kathy Reichs. It's the first one in the Temperance Brennan series.
I'm also a huge fan of Marian Keyes. I've read all her books apart from this one but I might wait a bit longer till it drops in price. it gives me something to look forward to.

You are all reading really intelligent books, I nearly didn't comment. I am reading an Alice Rose book, it's the first one of the Cotswolds cookery club. I must have a look at a Marian Keys book. I used to love Maeve Binchy. Perhaps the only similarity is that they are both Irish?

It's an easy read which is taking a lot of my brain power!

I'm reading "The Fragrant Pharmacy" this evening. A complete guide to essential oils by Valerie Ann Worwood. My desk in the new house is positioned under some rather nice bookshelves and books I haven't picked up in ages are now beckoning to me. I like the way I can sit here and grab a book without getting up I found all your choices very captivating too
