Climate change is a huge concern for me too, and I admire this young girl for her massive commitment to this problem.
I also find it worrying that such a young girl is campaigning so strongly, I can see an anger in her that concerns me, she is a teenager, and in my opinion she should be out and about enjoying all the things that teenagers normally want to do.
Proper down pour this morning Trisha, then sun and more rain this afternoon, looks like this going forward for a week or two, we need it but I was enjoying the Indian Summer
The Magic Faraway Tree seems very popular, I've never heard of it before, I will investigate.
I listened to radio Luxumberg too, then there was also radio Caroline, an illegal radio station from a boat, I think Johnnie Walker was one of the presenters, it used to stop broadcasting at 9p.m.
I can remember reading in bed, also on the light summer nights I couldn't sleep, and used to do colouring, that was until my oldest sister, right bossy boots, caught me red handed and stopped me
I can't remember having bedtime stories, but I did have books to read myself and always bought books with my birthday money, I loved Enid Blyton's Famous Five, I think I had a crush on Julian
I have lots of books for our grand children, my grandson made me smile recently when the playroom teddies and dollies had been busy and needed a nap, we rested their heads on the sofa cushions, tucked them up with a cosy fleece blanket, and grandson went to the books and put some out ready for them to be read to awww.
That sounds so lovely B, family time and love what a great idea.
What my thoughts are is that I could achieve replies to 20 posts in under half an hour, so if I signed on as a new member I could be into our personal and private details very quickly.
Maybe I am being a bit paranoid here, I just don't want a malicious new member viewing details and transferring that to social media for all to see.
