I tend to be very busy in my job as a childminder during the school holidays with the school children to keep busy as well as the little ones. I can tell a good summer when I can get them out every morning to one park or another and this year we've only had rain on two mornings and one of them we were able to get out for a walk and feed the ducks after lunch. All in all a very satisfying summer for me....
Lots of mums I know (and some grandparents too) are looking forward to the new term starting next week but although I'm looking forward to a week away next week to recharge the batteries, I much prefer the holidays and more relaxed routines. If you have little ones, do you prefer the holidays or term time?
I used to subscribe to BBC Good Food but haven't bought any kind of magazine for years. I tend to google anything I think of and can spend hours mooching on the internet :-)
There are so many ways to get rid of unwanted/not used stuff that it's surprising to see so much just chucked away - some people I guess just find it easier to bin rather than put an add in to find a new home for these things...
