It's such a mess and I really can't see how or when this can be resolved. It's like living under a big black cloud of uncertainty. I feel especially sorry for people in industries like the car manufacturers, who have decided to close their UK factories.
Yes, my feelings exactly Jax and B, I so feel for Theresa May, yesterday her voice so croaky, she must have felt dreadful, I know it's her job, but even so, many would have taken a day off, I know I would.
I have been watching a fair bit of coverage on the goings on in parliament today, I am staggered by how many MPs are sitting with their phones in their hands .... kids in school would be sent out if they did it, it would be poor practice in most business meetings, why is it appropriate for them
Jax, that's exactly what I said to hubs. I don't understand what everyone wants, they all seem to want their own way. Unfortunately, no one knows what that is. Parliament can talk about an extension, will the EU allow this. I agree with Theresa May' s comment, relationships between MP' s and their constituents will be damaged. I think that they are damaged already. Now the resignations have started. What a mess.
Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly.
An extension will just delay the inevitable. The EU have said there will be no further changes to what’s on offer. Wish they would just get it done then we can start to rebuild the country and it’s finances
What I'd like to know is who are those very noisy people who protest outside Westminster and are in the background every time you watch an interview on College Green. They seem to be there whatever the weather, so obviously are very committed to their cause, there seems to be pro & anti-Brexit lobbyists, I wonder whether there's lots of argument or if they are just trying to outdo each other and shout the loudest.
One good thing came out of yesterday which was that the £ went up against the dollar. I can’t add to what the rest of you have said except I think that if Cameron had taken a vote in parliament first to see the mood of the MPs before holding a referendum, we might be in a better place. No point looking back though to what ifs.
