Good Morning everyone. That goes out to all the members and to non members too. I don’t always post. Sometimes I’m not in the mood, feel I don’t have anything interesting to say, maybe need time to consider before I reply, not got enough time, my mobile might ping, my family might need me, etc, etc,
What I do like and enjoy is to know that there are people here like me who just need a bit of contact. I miss seeing people post and it’s so lovely when old friends pop by and leave a message. So how about if you read this, you leave a simple greeting, a calling card , like they did in Victorian times so we all know you’re ok. It can go on and on and on and on ...........
Awww, LL, what a sweet message from you, I just sat down to have a coffee and thought I would login and there you were, I agree with you, that I don’t always have time to post and at the moment I’m struggling to find fresh input, but it’s just stopped raining here and I’m going to put out some washing.
So, happy Thursday from me to all our friends out there 😀
Hello from me, just been for a walk to get some air & some steps. Yesterday it rained almost all day and was very dismal, I love Autumn but not days like that, however I indulged myself by finishing a few craft projects that I had neglected (was much more enjoyable than the cleaning and ironing which were also calling for my attention).
I work two days a week (from home currently) and OH is not working at the moment so things are very different than they would be in 'normal' times in our household. We are staying home most of the time - like everywhere else, the local Covid rate is escalating quickly so we are trying to avoid putting ourselves at risk, so it does often feel like Groundhog Day. I've dug out my slow-cooker and this evening we're having Apricot Chicken from a recipe I found on Youtube - hoping it will be delicious.
Hello everyone, a very Happy Thursday afternoon. It's a full gray day here today. I have been shopping for Halloween things this morning. Our little one is in a football team and the coaches have suggested a Halloween theme for this evening. I have also started to put the garden to bed for the winter. It's lovely to see people posting, Jazzy I hope that your hubs is doing ok? Jax, I love the sound of apricot chicken

Well don't fall off your chairs ladies ! and I actually haven't spoken to LL before to know about this post Am I telepathic or pathetic. My first day of sitting down at a laptop, which I actually had to dust cobwebs off.
My yahoo mail has over 12,000 +e-mails that I am deleting. I have spent the last ? how many months de-cluttering and organising our house to feel better in and have spaces that make me happy, knowing that we are in for the long haul.
But it is lovely to pop on as it feels like yesterday.
Whoohoo Hello Sunnydays, I think you are telepathic, lovely to see you. Great idea about the de-cluttering and making a nice space to be in. It's looking like a lock down Christmas so very wise.
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
Nice to see you sunny. X It's good to declutter, I think that it adds a feeling of lightness. Almost as if our homes and breathing a sigh of relief. It's another dull day here, the sky was a strange colour first thing this morning I almost don't want to say but, but I followed a gritter Monday morning.

OH and I went to the market town today together which was nice, today is Friday so it's time to do mums grocery order, which usually leaves us both in stitches as she can't hear very well on the phone and everything I ask she repeats a different word. Good job we can laugh about it
