Moi, the series was also broadcast on French TV ("Chapeau melon et bottes de cuir") and I loved her too : she was smart and clever , sense of humour, and elegant (dresses and suits were designed by Pierre Cardin) and "sexy", too ! I remember being very disappointed when another actress replaced her. Beyond recognition, but just as talented she was as the sinister Mrs Danvers in a 1997 TVversion of "Rebecca", winning an Emmy. In the biography, I see she also performed as "Colette", the French writer, on stage (1982)and I'm sure she was perfect ! Great lady !
^^ This makes me even more think Diana Rigg should be honored by the UK government , beyond that the United Nations !!!

A big event in my life. I was a 21 year old cocktail waitress who only cared about herself and wasn't interested in anything outside of my life.
Was mad I had to work says since there were never any customers so no tips that made up most of my pay . Was bored & angry in the car on the way to work with all the news about the attacks .To selfish me it was BFD as they say .
The hotel bar was packed with stranded business travelers. Thought I wud make a fortune in tips .But nobody was drinking alcohol ,but no , I served more coffee that day then anyone at STARBUCKS .
There was a mood of curiosity and sadness among the mostly male customers. It spread .After few hours I was sad about what was happening and to my surprise for the first time ever felt like an American. I could have gone home but stayed for hours wanting to be with others in the time of trouble .

Tragic story, she alway seemed like more of a pre-packaged product then actual talent .A comedian on tv when Michael Jackson died showed a photo of him looking terrible saying we shouldn't be surprised that Jackson died .Then showed a photo of the worn out / burned out Amy Winehosue saying the real surprise is how Amy Winehouse is still alive.RIP .
