Did anyone see this programme last night? I don't know how the contestants managed to make so many things e.g. plates, dishes and beakers in such a short time. I'll bet they were all exhausted by the time they had finished. I really enjoyed watching it, i wouldn't have the strength in my hands. Does anyone do pottery?

Aw I missed it - will find it on catch up. I quite enjoy this programme but then again I love anything crafty. I have never tried it but would love to - I just know I'd make a right mess though lol
I didn't see it either. There are just too many programmes on TV now!!! A while back there were pottery painting cafes popping up and I went to one in Hale where I had a great time painting a plate. Would love to do it again but as for making pottery, I think I'd be rubbish
We have been watching this programme, it's amazing what people can create with a lump of clay. In last weeks programme the potters had to make a sake set. The winning set was really good. The contestants used a special kiln and finished the pots off by plunging them into cold water. It looked very scary.

I had a shock then Trisha, I thought Ella was back! ....
I watched it last night and loved it! Couldn't afford to do it as a hobby because of the cost of the wheel and kiln, but thought what they made was fabulous and enjoyed the reactions of the judges.

I saw an episode of this for the first time where they made a breakfast set. I really enjoyed it and was amazed at what they produced. Reminded me of school art lessons. I loved the pottery making but we only did a couple of things maybe because of the financial restrictions. I made a very wonky mug which disappeared a very long time ago.

You got me too.
I tried it once, as a kid, I was sort of adequate at it lol. I was quite chuffed when I took it home and my mum said "Is it a dog?"
Was it a dog 6herry? I have a "is it a tortoise?" lovingly displayed on a shelf that MD made and a "don't know what the heck that is" that my son made. All good fun.
Loved the breakfast sets and the chess sets were just brilliant
