If there is a Christmas song I loathe, it is the one above
Our Sainsburys has the Christmas aisle set up but not in your face, there is no need to use that aisle at all, unless you choose to, and then once halloween is over then they bring it on, as much as I love Christmas, November is early enough for me
I'm with the 'old wives tale' side, when I heard Alan Titchmarsh say some years ago, that plentiful berries were a sign of a good Spring, makes sense to me.
But still get your logs in Trisha, it's going to be cold enough for the wood burner, that we know for sure
What a lovely idea Trisha, I have been thinking about making a cake this year, I haven't made one in quite a while, I usually buy one and marzipan and ice it, but last year it had a distinctive 'fake' alcohol taste which I didn't like at all.
Is the muslin still crinkly like the original cheesecloth Jazzy?
I had a cheesecloth shirt, it had little animal heads on it, could have been little monkey heads. Really great fabric and nice and soft against your skin.
Good luck with the search Beckyboo
I'm not at all knowledgeable about cheesecloth or muslin B, but the dressmakers muslin that Beckyboo showed definitely has a texture.
I also noticed the guidelines on salt have changed or the opinion I should say. I have never been a heavy salt user, never add it to a plate of food. OH always gets the salt mill and grinds away without tasting his food to see if it needs it, just habit.
Haven't tried the soup you mentioned Trisha but if you're fit and healthy and you've been low sodium for some time then you must be doing it right
My OH does that too B, and once when the salt ran out and I kept forgetting to refill it, he was still grinding away with an empty salt container, he hadn't noticed, it was only when we had company, our friend who was also a heavy user spotted my trick
A rep that calls here lives in the midlands in a nice safe area I believe. However, on a cold frosty morning he started his car up to defrost it and popped inside, and when he came out it had gone! And it was a brand new company car! Plus the insurance wouldn't pay out due to the circumstances in which it was taken......how many of us to this??? lol
That happened to a neighbour in our village, I always lock my car at the petrol station.
It does make me think, when I spot a shoe in the kerb on a busy A road roundabout, how on earth did that get there, there are some things that will be forever a mystery.
