I woke up this morning to a distinctly cooler house and the sound of the rain outside.
I was actually pleasantly enjoying the sound as it was cosy and comforting in a strange way. Getting excited about going back into my winter boots.

I'm in work today in boots and a jumper (and some stuff in between of course!)
I have a hot air blower on and I still have cold hands.
Love this time of year but it seems to have arrived quickly lol.

Thank goodness, normal temperatures again. It had been so, so hot here for weeks and we couldn't open our windows because of our cats being in a new home, been really awful.
So happy now it's cooler, it's easier to warm yourself up than to cool yourself down:)

I truly loath the cold weather and look forward with dread to dark mornings and dark evenings I am most definitely a summer person, it can never be too warm for me.

^^ just so.  We have definitely said goodbye to the Indian summer. Even today which was a beautiful sunny day, had a nip in the air. |
