I have just been reading an article about knitted breasts, apparently midwives use them as an aid to new breastfeeding mums. I know that some of us dabble with the knitting needles. Not forgetting our knitter extraordinaire, VW! www.mymummydoes.co.uk/local-resources/knit-a-breast/

I had to read again to make sure I’d read the thread correctly! I’m guessing they use the boobs to show new mums which part the baby needs to get into it’s mother in order, to promote good feeding technique. My daughter’s friend is a midwife and she spent some time with my ED helping her get her feeding spot on. She didn’t have a knitted boob on hand though.
