Aha Jax, I would have given it a miss and watched something far more worthy...problem is OH is in charge of the gadget and when he says "there's nothing else on" he means nothing that HE would be interested in
My friends, as I have discovered myself, there are no disasters, only opportunities. And, indeed, opportunities for fresh disasters.
I don't watch it, too many flickering bright lights, being a migraine sufferer, makes it difficult for me, there was very little choice on tv last night, so I was catching up with the news, and that got extremely boring, so I switched to Eurovision and just as I did the UK entry started, I had never heard it before and I was, to say the least, underwhelmed by both the song and the performance
We watched it to the bitter end. Some of the performances were 'unusual ' did anyone else see the three ladies who were sitting on talk poles that swayed dramatically? What about the one from Iceland? Pure Eurovision! Is it just me or did anyone else think that Madonna was dreadful? I don't suffer with migraine, so I didn't didn't take much notice of the flashing lights. I think that strobe lights seem to be everywhere. We came last again , is our taste in music so out of touch with the rest of Europe? Perhaps it's time we called it a day as far as Eurovision is concerned.
