We’re staying in the area and while at an amazing pub/restaurant called The Bicycle talking to the owner (he actually gave us a lift home so hubby could have some wine!) He recommended visiting Frinton. I’m so glad he did, there are a lot of Art Deco houses which are stunning. We really enjoyed walking around looking at the houses as well as walking on the beach.
You probably can’t see from the photo but the interior was stunning - white furniture and a bold painting on the back wall. With the huge window, it looked almost like an art or bespoke furniture shop.
That does look lovely. It reminds me of a time we were staying in a historic cottage in derbyshire. It was on the high st, so no front garden. Half way through the morning a teacher turned up with his kids, and started lecturing about such historic buildings as this. He was tapping on the door to make his point, and the kids were all peering through the window.
