I have just had to have a new photo ID driving license done. It's something I should have done ages ago when we moved house but didn't bother and now solicitors are asking for photo id and my passport has recently run out.
After running around the town trying to find a photo booth that was open, had to give up and go into a professional shop, that was luckily open. I was by then completely disheveled, sweating and fed up and wind swept because of the high winds that day. Id forgotten my hairbrush and the lady didn't have a mirror. Had to do the best I could with my fingers.
Never had such a hideous photo in all my life! I look like a convict. I didn't open it til I got home as she put it in an envelope and sealed it without showing me (social distancing?) I've now got to have this disturbing photo as my ID for I don't know how long. It's not that I'm vain, it's that I really didn't recognize myself. That's what I was sulking about this week. I couldn't have looked worse if I'd tried
Question is, what are your passport/driving license photos like? Are you happy with them and is there a trick to looking half decent in them?
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
I've never looked anywhere near like me on a passport photo. I don't like having my photo taken at the best of times, and am happier holding a camera. Would be nice to have one good photo of me as a grown up though lol
My last official photo was when I had my driving licence renewed. I had it done at the post office and she told me my fringe was too long and I had to sweep it to the side. That is not a good look on me. It’s just lucky the photo is so tiny.
You certainly made me laugh 😂 B, and if you saw my driving license photo you would be laughing too, my hair looks like straw and I look like proper doom and gloom with a down turned mouth, good thing I haven’t ever been asked to show my license.
