I know that I have mentioned my local park before. It's lovely, tennis courts, children's play area with a large lake in the middle with pedaloes for the intrepid! It has a small, thriving, tea room. Recently, there has been a short questionnaire asking what park uses would like. As a result, a children's pantomime has been arranged. Very reasonable prices with a picnic at an extra cost. We have seen an outside performance of the Merchant of Venice, it was really successful. I really hope this new venture works and the weather is good. Fingers crossed.
Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly.
I've been to a few Shakespeare productions open air theatre around here over the years and every time was a really enjoyable evening. Picnic etc. I think with the new norm an open air whether for the kids, family or adults is a perfect choice of evening
I'm not far from a rather gorgeous park where they put on the dragon boat race every year. Be nice if they would do a open air too.
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
