I so enjoy watching Monty Don on Gardeners World. I think the programme is my favourite of the week so he has to be my favourite presenter. I also am a great fan of David Olusoga who presents the A House Through Time programme. They both are very softly spoken and present such kind personalities. Very sorry to read in the media today about David’s experience and depression with racism in TV. I’d love to see more of him on TV.
I tend to watch mostly Netflix and Prime so I don’t really watch those kind of shows so I’m going to cheat and say my favourite presenter(s) are Brian Cox and Robin Ince who are the presenters on the Infinite Monkey Cage. It’s on Radio 4 but I don’t know when as I listen to it as a podcast.
There are many to chose from but off the top of my head, I'll echo LL and say Monty Don. He really transports you with his soothing voice. Thumbs up for Joanna Lumley too, again, I think it's all in the voice for me
I love Gardeners world, love to see all the beautiful gardens people have created even in the smallest of spaces. Of course his garden is just magical, he's so soothing I fell asleep listening to him, he's kind of hypnotic
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
I also am a great fan of David Olusoga who presents the A House Through Time programme.
Me too .... I could watch him all day long, he has such a lovely calm presence about him and a soothing voice. I was very sorry to see in the press recently he has suffered from mental health issues and had problems with trolling on social media, I respect him for speaking out about it.
