I can watch a couple of hours at a time, for a film or if we are engrossed in a series, but after 3hours max, I am done! During the week I don't have the television on until the 6.00 o'clock news, then I watch a couple of hours after dinner and finish with the 10 o'clock news which is just a repeat, I know, but with these darker evenings at weekends I find by 9, I am done.
We don't even have a tv, we buy newspapers. Also as we don't have a tv, no licence fee to pay out for the same old continual repeated programmes and no, we don't watch tv on the computer coz of my epilepsy. I'll come on my computer for 20 mins or so off and on throughout the day.
"I am doing the best I can with what I have in this moment; and that is all I can expect of anyone including me"
No tv in our house until 7pm, it's never on in the day. We like to watch selected programs but usually watch a film at least 4 times a week. Last week watched, the Professor and the Madman, brilliant film! and last night Fishermans Friends, feelgood film
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
I fancy the Fishermans Friends, I must jot that one down on my list to watch. Have just started sourcing Netflix. Had it for years but it has mainly been the kids who use it from wherever they are living. There is so much choice these days it becomes mind boggling.
