Do you eat curry? I’ve never liked it as it just blew my socks off never mind what it did to my throat! But then I met a lovely lady called Nisha Katona who calls herself a curry evangelist. I really enjoy her recipes and I can taste flavours rather than just heat. I think curry is like marmite, you hate or love it but she’s converted me. How about you ? Do you love, hate, cook or avoid?

I have always been a curry lover, and used to spend hours making them on a Saturday night. However since the blooming menopause, my mouth and gums are extremely sensitive to anything spicy - even relatively mild stuff. Gutted as I do love a madras!

We like a curry LL, I can’t do hot though, a dollop of sour cream always tones down the heat 😅

I didn't think that I liked curry, until one of the local docs had a meeting that I was invited to. He served a selection of curries that his wife had made. He suggested that I start with spoon of the mildest and work up until I found my level. All were tasty with spices, no chilli. I stopped at korma

I like a mild curry, my OH makes some great ones, although he peps his up because he likes it MUCH hotter than I do. He makes a great chicken massaman - delicious

I used to love curry but I’ve gone off it a bit. I make a spinach and chick pea curry sometimes using Pataks curry paste but I find it a bit samey no matter which one I use.
However I love a Thai curry. There’s nothing like a really good Thai green curry.
