Weird what comes to mind and why but this morning as I brushed my teeth and wondered for the umpteenth time how I chipped a front tooth, the sixpence in the Christmas Pudding came to mind. No my tooth didn’t get chipped that way but there must have been many that did. Does anyone still put a sixpence in their pudding or did the EU ban it? Can you think of any other old traditions that have now become a thing of the past because of health and safety?
