My cousin sent me this in a card. She wrote it herself and it’s too good not to share.
At Christmas time it means so much For all of us to be in touch But since the virus has appeared Our shopping trips have disappeared
It’s jolly careful we must be But hope that soon enough we’ll see The cavalry charging o’er the hills With vaccines to disperse our ills And merry we can be once more Enduring friendships to the fore
Until in person we can meet And face to face in friendship greet To share the times we like so much In hearts and minds we’ll keep in touch

That's really special Magggzz, you're close to her aren't you.
Does she always make a Christmas poem?

We are close and we’ve become even closer since my mum died. She’s the nearest thing I have to a sister. I wish she wasn’t so much older than me. She was exactly half way in age between me and my mum.
The poem is a first. I didn’t know she was capable of that but she’s a smart cookie. I was really touched when I got it and i felt it was too good not to share.

Magggzzz, that's lovely. It's good to form closer friendships. After all, age is just a number! Trisha
