I know it's been difficult shopping this year in the way that we usually do but was wondering..
Has anyone bought a gift that they have been really happy to find and can't wait to give it?
Special? unusual? or know that it will be really appreciated?

No, nothing that springs to mind.
Our son wanted a subscription to audible, our daughter wanted an outside light. Definitely not inspiring.
Our two grandsons wanted hoodies and our little one has asked for Hungry Hippos. I will put something in the boys accounts and our little one has more pressies.
I know that we already have an advent thread, but if anyone wants a calendar for next year, can I suggest a Crayola one. It's amazing.

I do need a calendar and my dad wants one as well. Can you get it from Amazon?
I’m doing a hamper for my dad. I thought it was a good idea but it’s hard to think of things to go in it. I’ve got a cake and some tins of luxury soup, jams and lemon curd,chocolate, toffee, fudge but I’m still not happy with it. Tomorrow I’ll hopefully have time to make a light fruit cake and that will have to do.
In laws are just getting DVDs. It’s what they like.

What about a small bottle of whisky Magggzz, does he enjoy a hot toddy to ward off the winter chills? waxed cheese and crackers?
I bought my mum some Moonology cards. She's a moon phase watcher and likes to cast her wisdom of what you should do or not during the phases |
