We had snow last week and there is still some on the ground where the sun doesn’t shine. I’m having to put the heating on constant during the day as it’s just too cold. I don’t know how people coped without central heating! Potentially getting snow on Thursday and Friday here in my part of Cheshire.

More snow...wow. There seems to have been so many years where we haven’t seen snow at all. I must admit I love it even though it’s really cold. It’s not as if we can go out much anyway.
After having avoided supermarkets all this time. I’m going to brave out this morning and take a trip to Lidl. I had a delivery from Tesco yesterday and quite a few things I ordered weren’t on it. I had an email yesterday saying that anything that had been ordered late may not come as their computers had been overloaded after Boris’s announcement so there were a few things I didn’t get. Also even though my soft drinks were on the order I didn’t get them so now I have nothing to drink.
I think Lidl is the worst of all the supermarkets but they do a cherry flavoured fizzy water that is really lovely and I haven’t found anything like it anywhere else so I’ll brave that one even though it’s not the nearest.

We haven't had snow, but really beautiful frosts in the morning. But I am actually freezing and for a totally different reason. We have been shifting so much of our stuff to a storage unit and now the rooms are sparse and the attic storage is empty, the house is cold. It's surprising how having full rooms of furnishings keep the house warmer

It is bitter! I am home for a few days and got the heating on - a change from my usual hot flushes! No snow for us though, but I can see it on the hills - looks very pretty but as much as I love it, its fine to stay on those hills lol

I have just been in the garden, had to stock up our Robin’s takeaway food bar and water, few other jobs too, and I got frozen, there have been heavy frosts over here, thankfully no snow, it has been very sunny today.
Our heating has been on much more than usual, boiler has gone kaput twice, it’s an electrical fault, now temporarily fixed, by putting the controls in the garage.

I am a big kid at heart and quite disgruntled that we have not had a bloom'in flake of snow ! It is certainly colder this winter, but with my fires and logburner we're toasty. My cupboards are getting quite empty, so I will do a click and collect which hopefully I may be able to pick up by February !

I’ve just even out for a walk. The snow has turned to ice where we usually go and it was a bit slippery. The roads are ok though but I have a feeling there’s more to come. It’s so cold.

I’m disappointed as I expect lots of snow overnight and during today. I was planning on going sledging if it had been deep enough. It’s warming up as the path has dried today although we still have patches of snow around the garden. I hope you’re right Magggzzz.

We haven't had much snow, but my goodness it's been freezing. Although warmer today, the paths in my local park were covered in black ice this morning. It was treacherous. Thank goodness for my lovely log burner.

Hi Trisha, thank goodness you don't have to go out in it, the ice is really worrying and takes you by surprise. Its cold here, but no snow yet. I hear that's a lot up North. I hope we don't get it, I hate driving in it and moving this week.
