I haven’t used anything like Pledge for years preferring to damp dust and then immediately dry off. I’ve used E-clothes for this. I have got beeswax which occasionally I put on some furniture but not often. Today my OH finished off sorting, throwing out from our study and then preceded to clean! He asked me for Pledge to polish the desk. I told him I didn’t have any and he got a bit shirty with me because he couldn’t understand that the furniture wasn’t polished! So does anyone else still polish with Pledge type cleaner? Am I behaving badly?

I use a Method wood spray which smells like almonds - but a microfibre cloth will definitely remove dust & debris.

Can't deny I haven't used Pledge, I think more for smell. Also a few pieces are not what I class as proper wood so not unduly worried. I do have a tin of furniture polish that you rub on and rub off. Sadly I don't use it enough, probably my better pieces would improve greatly if I did.
