We have two Birmans who are wrecking the house. Love them to death but they steal bread and eat their bedding and jumpers and Steve's wooley hats. They don't like the rain so I can't throw them out. Yesterday they walked over my painting and I had a matching pair of blue and pink designer cats. No street cred!
Don't want them to grow up but I would like them to stop vandalising my things. I am going to get a water spray soon to deal with them. They hate water although they let me bathe them when their fur was getting dirty and matted. They had played in the coal bag!
My mum used to have Birmans Badpuss, they lived to over 20 years old so you have a lot of years to "enjoy" together:)))) The water spray should do it. I bought my cat some of these fish, which they played with for ages and finally conked out. I'd recommend these to give you some peace from them.
My friends, as I have discovered myself, there are no disasters, only opportunities. And, indeed, opportunities for fresh disasters.
They sound like little handfuls of loveliness .... I remember when we had kittens years ago they ran up the curtains, or up your trouser leg! Our next door neighbours, who only moved in during the Summer, have two lovely cats - a big black chap and a white one with grey patches which likes to sit on the bonnet of my car and lick his bits! When I look through the window at him, he reluctantly climbs off.
I filled an empty shampoo bottle with water and sprayed Angel when she tried to get into the bread cupboard. Result, disappearing cat. Great. Very sad cat looking at me but has forgiven me. She is now trying to sit on my laptop to stop me typing. Wants a cuddle. Badpuss
