Loved both of those. I couldn’t open the Monkees link either but it’s easy to find on YouTube.
I think Davy Jones was my first crush. Then I moved on to Donny.

I am disappointed to hear about the link but pleased you have all found it.
Davy Jones died in Feb 2012 after going to tend to his horses and suffered a heart attack he was 66 years old and born in Manchester, he was even in Coronation Street at one point.
Peter Tork died after a cancer in his salivary glands which spread to his tongue, neck and head. He was aged 77.

It was ok for me thank you Linda what a great song, love it 🥰 I wasn’t a big fan of The Monkees, Daydream Believer was the only song of theirs that I liked.

Yes Trisha, I liked Herman’s Hermits too, and remember dancing to this at a school friend’s party.

Yep, Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits. Peter is now 73 and still alive. Gosh times have changed. I am a very nostalgic person. Dad was a professional photographer and I love black and white photography. Music back then was different, it was uplifting and yes, now it's nostalgic too.

Brilliant tunes just right for a sunny day, as it is here today and hope it is for all of us ... OH is a big Monkee fan, when we moved house some years ago he couldn't find any of his Monkee vinyls and was adamant that I must have dumped them ...nothing I could say would persuade him otherwise. Then a while after, we went to visit our daughter for the first time at uni...and guess what was there stacked on her shelves...not only the Monkees but also his Meatloaf and his Bruce Springsteen ...

MTV ran the series . A narrator said The Beatles were called the Fabulous Four or Fab Four while these guys were called The Prefabricated Four since they were all actors hired to play a band .
Nice vocals .
