Has anyone else found their hours have changed due to the lockdown. I’ve been falling asleep on the sofa in the evenings and waking up ridiculously early. I’m trying to get back to being more normal but it’s a vicious circle I can’t seem to break.
I have a friend who just live a few doors away and her hours have gone the opposite direction and she now isn’t getting up till lunchtime. It’s difficult timing a walk together as she’s pushing for later and later and I would rather be earlier. It’s trivial really but these days once I’ve got to a certain point in the day I’m done.
I’ve been doing housework all morning and I’ve baked and I’ve been for a walk with my son. My body clock now thinks it’s evening and I don’t want to wait another 3 hours to go out for a walk even though by normal standards it’s not late.
I am struggling a bit this week with time clock. Life all of a sudden is busy ! we are waking up earlier than before by forced alarm, although last night I was so worked up I barely slept - 3 hours, so now dragging my body around to get all the chores done.
I just want them to put life on pause for a minute to catch my breadth and assess
I’d gotten into the habit when I was working of waking at 6:00 for a swim before work. I’d be desperate for bed by 9:00. Lockdown, no swim and retirement meant I could slowly try to change my sleep pattern by staying up until 10:00 at night. I was sleeping until 7:00 or later but this week seem to be back to early mornings again! I get loads done in the few hours before hubby gets up though - I quite enjoy a bit of time to myself
I want to be up around 8, I always feel as though I have wasted my day if it's any later. I usually go to bed around 10:30. One important thing for me is to make a list of things that I want to do. I know that if I didn't, I would just bumble around and do nothing. I have been taking advantage of the recent spell of warm weather and getting my garden sorted for the summer. Depending how I feel will depend on the length of my walk.

It was a full moon earlier in the week and I’m sure that affects our sleep too. I have been very tired in the evenings but put it down to manual work and a couple of 5 mile walks this week. Not considered the clock but think it must affect us too.
