I’m 62 and I got my first laptop when I was 50. It’s amazing how much I’ve had to learn since then. I think we all have. None of us were brought up with computers. I remember when there were only 3 channels on the tv and 2 on the radio. Now look what we have.
I must admit though my heart sinks when I get something new to deal with. I had a new dishwasher recently and I didn’t use it for days because I just couldn’t face another new system to learn how to use.
Having 2 sons though has had a lot to do with how I manage this. I hand a lot over to them to sort out.
I don’t know what I’d do without my iPad now. It does so much for me including giving me a whole load of virtual friends. I panicked for a minute when I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get on here.
I use tapatalk on my phone, I can get the forum on my laptop but it’s more convenient with the app on my phone - although I probably miss a lot this way! Today I couldn’t get on it and had to log back in... 🧐
