Our windows need a jolly good clean but I hate having strange men peering in through them. Do you have a regular window cleaner and how often do they come and what do they charge?

If you get a modern cleaner, he will have a special long pole and pump purefied water to clean your windows. Thus he doesn't need to get close to your windows. It is so effective apparently he can clean windows in the rain. I don't know how much it costs as mine are done with substantial discount as he is an old friend.

A lot of window cleaners won't go up ladders now as they can't get insurance - so use a long pole and hose. A window cleaner in my old village had a fall and had to be airlifted to hospital! I have my very own window cleaner (OH) - as he fits them for a living he's got some good cleaning products for windows and frames, and if I can persuade him, he does them once a month for me. I hate cleaning windows but I do the insides - still use vinegar and newspaper for a super shine

Our window cleaners have been today LL, and use the method 6herry mentioned, brilliant shiny windows when they leave, and they wash the white paintwork and window sills too, great value. I close my kitchen blind and bathroom curtains, I like one but his brother gives me the creeps, no idea why, just a feeling, they come every six weeks.

Ours comes approximately ever three weeks, I also pay the to wash all the upvc frames. The frames are always left dry, no streaking or smears on the Windows. They seem to make a point of not looking through the window. We pay £12.

We don't have a window cleaner now - we bought a squeegy thing on a long pole and do that - it's free!

Our business sells the equipment and resins to window cleaners (part of our business anyway - we specialise in water purification). There are few window cleaners who are willing to climb ladders these days. With good reason. Have heard of too many falling off ladders and breaking their backs! It's better for house owners too. No more peering in windows and lovely shiny windows and trims.
The more you use them, the less your windows attract dirt. I'm an expert these days in wfp systems (sad) 😂

Yep. They need mixed bed resin to purify the water they use. It's all very scientific and chemical. Don't ask me to explain it 😂
