Rachels Holiday by Marian Keyes .. She's written some great books but I still think this is the best.

The couple next door by Shari Lapena was like that for me AnnaD. But then before that there were books such as the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and the Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty. Not sure I could name just one! The Girl on the Train was fab too.

I have just finished 'White Lies' by Lucy Dawson - it's a psychological thriller - I bought it on Kindle 3 days ago and have not been able to put it down, I finished it this morning. It was only 99p on Amazon which is ridiculously good value for such a great story.

Just ordered it. With a recommendation like that and a 99p price tag, how can I not.

I love sci fi, but I so rarely read any I like. I loved all the Dune series by Frank Herbert, and Chapterhouse Dune is my favourite. I have now read it three times.Strong women and sci fi rarely go together. This is a rare exception.
