Our tree is down, lights still up but not switched on - hubby gets a bit stressed when I do it so I’ll wait until he feels better and let him do it. Boxes everywhere waiting to go in the loft. It seems so dark in the house without them but at least the new ones that flash aren’t making me feel like having a fit 😄
That’s exactly how hubby felt! I didn’t get it and still testing negative 11 days later. Hubby is still testing positive but not contagious now. We went for a very little walk yesterday (600 steps) he is exhausted..
He’s been ok, he did say the 2nd day that it was worse than just a cold but after a couple of bad days he woke up fine - I am concerned that after 5 days he tested negative and then the next day was positive again. The thing with the testing though is that we’ve never had the ability before so it might just be what happens with any virus.. 🤷♀️
So, weirdly, hubby tested positive a week ago and has had bad cold symptoms. I’ve been testing every day and negative so far (day 7).
He was feeling better and tested negative on day 5, faint positive on day 6 and definite positive today. He says he feels a bit tired now and more blocked nose than the last few days.
Finished it last night- good timing since it was Christmas Day yesterday 😄 I was very pleasantly surprised at just how easy it was to read! I guess I half expected something in more flowery language, a bit more Shakespeare even though there are nearly 250 years between them. 5 Chapters, so not a long book. I loved it, I don't know why it took me so long to read it!
Selfishly, I don’t mind another lockdown as long as it’s next week - I just want to see all of my sons over Christmas! Last year I couldn’t see one of my sons for 10 months… I never stopped wearing a mask and have three vaccinations, hubby is more nervous than I am. Stay safe ladies xx
