Anyone here from Salisbury or scene the park where the ex spy & his daughter were poisoned .
Putin has gone too far and shown just how dangerous he is .He not only tried to kill 2 people but poisoning them in a public park put the lives of regular British people there in danger .
Moi, it's terrible. Our newspapers were full of it. That has eased off a bit now. The television news carries a report at every bulletin. I do wonder what these two poor people are going through and what are their chances of survival. We have never been to Salisbury, it has a beautiful cathedral.

Our PM has said that father and daughter may never recover! With all the expulsions around the world of diplomats, one has to think that those in the know are not telling us everything. I think it is all very scary! Very scary!
Really awful thing to happen OH and I were watching a thing about Russian spies last night, were talking about propaganda etc and I said to him that although he's quick to say that the Russian government and KGB tell lies, our government and their special services do just the same. We are only told the things they want us to know and as LL said there is probably so much that we are not told. I haven't heard the latest on this situation so need to catch up with the news.
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.

There is no doubt that we really do not know what we don't know.
It keeps the news off my telly. I rely on radio 4 for the basic news, which is really headlines only. That way I don't resent not being told stuff, as I am simply not listening.
