I'm what you might call an enthusiastic learner in the garden - still at the stage where a fair few things I plant die quite soon after planting!
I admired some Hellebores when out walking with a friend and she gave me a few seedling Hellebores which I promptly planted out in the the garden. I'm pretty sure I planted them in the wrong place as, although not dead, haven't exactly flourished in the full sunshine I planted them in (I've since learned they don't like that so much). While out with hubby at the weekend, on impulse, I bought another Hellebore and it's now nestled under a tree - my question being - is it too late in the year to plant new things out?
Thanks B, my DIL will love this as she is Dairy Free, Gluten Free diet - Vegitarian as well but I can come up with a veggie filling for our Boxing Day Buffet :-D
Oh no!!! On the other hand my hubby put his old car on ebay expecting the £99 scrap value and sold it for £921.... :-D You can never guess what something will sell for!
I wish our home was suitable for a log burner - we have heating but now the hot water has gone (get a 30 sec shower before it goes cold) we have to call in an engineer but they are all very busy this time of year. Why don't these things happen in the summer???
I love Thanksgiving Day - I was explaining this to the children today which they were very interested in - it's also the beginning of Christmas yeah! :-D
What a lovely thing to do B, especially now these nights are longer, having a guest who brings supper must have been very enjoyable for both of you :-)
